The Berthoud Arts and Humanities Alliance is a non profit organization with the goal of bringing art to the community, enriching our lives, making art the everyday experience, assisting local artists, and encouraging talent and growth in these areas. In short, we are here to make Berthoud a very special and beautiful place. We encourge your participation in our efforts. Here are some current projects you may want to lend your energy and physical resources to:
Paint the Town Mural Program
We have completed four murals in town, the latest being the installation of “Berthoud’s Roots,” on the south side of the old grain elevator. We are looking for other sites for mural installation.
ArtScapes Sculpture on Loan Program
We have three permanent sculptures and three rotating displays. Each year we solicit new works to put in their place. The sculptures are available for purchase and do assist BAHA in their financial needs. If you’re interested in purchasing one of our displays, please contact us at baha@berthoudarts.org
Summer Arts Camp and Education Series
For the past several years we have been delighted to bring art/drama classes to our kids during their summer vacation. The camps are held in the first two weeks of June. We also have planned to bring year round classes and demonstrations to all ages. Please contact us if you would like to be a student, educator or demonstrator.
Arts and Crafts Fair
BAHA assumed responsibility for this landmark event beginning in 2006. We have plans to bring back the fair for Spring 2012 with more of a fine art flair. Please contact us at baha@berthoudarts.org if you would like to be a vendor or volunteer for this event.
